Programs accepted: San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) offers free speech therapy for those who qualify (kids under the age of 3) through the program called Early Start. Iris Bloom Therapy is an approved vendor of SDRC. You can request Iris Bloom Therapy as your child's vendor when communicating with SDRC. Services will be provided either at home or in public spaces (e.g., parks, libraries, etc.).
Under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) parents/caregivers of children with special needs may request an IEE to be conducted at public expense if they disagree with the outcome of the district’s evaluation.
Insurance: We are currently considered to be an out-of-network provider for all insurances. We can help you by providing a Super Bill, which you may use to file for reimbursement from your insurance when paying out-of-pocket (depending on your plan). Please feel free to reach out to request a "Super Bill cheat sheet" to help navigate your conversation with insurance.
Private pay: We accept cash, credit card, or check*.
The benefit of private pay is that the speech therapy could be provided to you or your family member as soon as possible without waiting for referrals, pre-authorization, and insurance approvals. In addition, you can choose the duration and frequency of services.
